People come in and out of our life for a reason. Venessa’s purpose is to help you find peace and understanding with your life experience.

Having over a decade of experience working with vulnerable people, Venessa is familiar with supporting victims of crime and abuse, healing the inner child, dealing with grief and loss, and working with common mental health concerns. She specialises in creating a safe space so that you feel comfortable to tell your story. 

Using traditional counselling theories, Venessa operates from a person-centred approach, understanding that you are the expert of your own experience. Venessa’s role is to provide support when there is no road map of how to cope, resource you with information, and empower you with varied perspectives. Her aim is to help you achieve your goals, find peace within yourself and live the life you aim for.

If talk therapy is not enough to reach the embodied pain and traumatic memory stored at a cellular level, Venessa has the unique skillset to offer alternative therapies using mindfulness and meditation techniques, Reiki and general energy balancing. Venessa draws upon a holistic perspective, observing the interaction between mind, body, and soul to consider what can be learned from any given moment.
